Excellent news, or, Father's Day part 2

Today my aunt told my sister that when my dad was 10, he drew the Batman logo onto a round piece of glass and stuck it on a flashlight so that it flashed the Batsignal.

About an hour ago, my sister and I called my dad and this story is now CONFIRMED.

So MJ's dead, and my immediate reaction was.... what? A blankness. I'm not sure how I feel, or what I think. I feel a general sadness at death, but nothing deep. It's been a strange day.

Happy Father's Day

I must have been... 8 or 9. I admitted out loud to my dad that I kind of wanted the new Kriss Kross album. My dad stopped what what he was doing, looked me straight in the eye, and said "That's garbage."
